The latest entry in the field of laser applications is the V-Beam laser. It is primarily intended for the eradication of redness due to broken blood vessels, but is also successful at diminishing fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating collagen production within the skin.
The laser passes through but does not damage the outer layer of skin, so there is no crusting or scabbing. The laser light is absorbed by the blood vessels, but unlike the previous generation of similar lasers, the V-Beam produces no bruising. Facial redness is quickly and successfully treated with no "downtime" for the patient. Following a V-Beam treatment, patients can go about their daily routine with minimal visible effects from the procedure.
The V-Beam laser is a very popular treatment at The Center because of its minimal discomfort and excellent results. Two or three treatments may be needed, and results are very long lasting. |
