Treatment options to enhance or rejuvenate thinning lips.
Full sensuous lips are a sign of youth and vitality. The aging process often results thinning of the red portion of the upper lip along with a visible lengthening of the distance from the base of the nose to the lip border.
Lip augmentation using Goretex* or Alloderm** can achieve long lasting enhancement of both the upper and lower lips. Goretex implants are permanent and well tolerated by the body. Alloderm is a naturally derived implant which also provides long-term enhancement. The procedure may be done under local anesthesia in the office setting and is customized to achieve the desired degree of enhancement.

Lip Lift Procedures
Lip Lift is a procedure effective in reducing the length of the upper lip and also allows more of the red portion of the lip to be visible. This procedure is often combined with lip augmentation to add increased rejuvenation to the mouth.
The Corner of the Mouth Lift provides a natural correction for down-turned corners of the mouth. The incisions are hidden at the junction of the red portion of the lip and facial skin. This procedure effectively removes or reduces the frowning appearance caused by this condition. The surgery is routinely performed in the office surgery suite and may be combined with the other procedures that we offer. |
